- Determination of the role of mitochondria DNA variants in the development of age-related cognitive disorders - (In collaboration with Dr. Richard Cawthon, Eccles Institute of Human Genetic, University of Utah)
- The application of PET-MRI brain imaging to detect neural changes in participants of the Cache County, Utah, Study on Memory, Health, and Aging. (Cohort Study) - (In collaboration with Norman L. Foster, MD, Center for Alzheimer's Care, Imaging, and Research, University of Utah)
Autism biomarkers
- Analysis of genetic variation in the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) gene region to identify genetic associated with the incidence of autism spectrum disorder - (In collaboration with Anthony R. Torres, MD, Center for Persons with Disabilities, Utah State University)
